Sandro Monetti

Sandro Monetti was a long time BAFTA LA Board of Directors Member and Head of BAFTA LA new talent committee. He is the ultimate Hollywood insider and leading British entertainment journalist in Los Angeles. He's interviewed all of the biggest stars in the world, including George Clooney, Will Smith, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Benedict Cumberbatch, and many more. He's a Royal Correspondent for CNN and a contributor to the BBC. Sandro created the autobiographical one man stage show Clooney, Cowell, Pitt and Me: Amusing Encounters with the A-List which he has performed to packed houses around the world. He has written several best selling books, (biographies Mickey Rourke: Wrestling with Demons and Colin Firth: The Man Who Would Be King), articles and radio and TV reports whisk readers from Tinseltown parties to set visits and red carpet award shows, capturing compelling celebrity stories told with pace, power and passion. Sandro contributes to leading media organizations such as the BBC, Sky TV and Express Newspapers. He created and teaches the world's first BA university degree course in celebrity journalism. Sandro moderates Q&As with movie stars for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) in Los Angeles. He is currently President of Development for Big Screen Entertainment Group
