Paul Allica was born in Melbourne, Australia on January 27, 1991. He got his start in local musicals in his formative years. Paul earned himself a strong reputation for leading these productions in roles such as Pharaoh in 'Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat', and Coach Bolton in 'Disney's High School Musical On Stage'. In 2008, Paul was voted College Captain. He was also presented the Queen's Scout Award by the Governor Of Victoria on behalf of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth's II at Government House. Beyond college, Paul was coached and mentored by Logie award winner Paul O'Brien (Home and Away) as a way to polish his knowledge of the acting craft. Paul began working and filming scenes with director Kelly Dolen (John Doe Vigilante) and studied Lee Strasberg's method acting approach at the renowned Melbourne Actor's Lab. He trained his action acting and movie fighting skills directly under a veteran member of the Jackie Chan Stunt Team. He was awarded a Bachelor of Film and Digital Media with distinction from Deakin University, Australia. In 2010 Paul became the State Champion and National Runner Up in Martial Arts for Australia (NAS). In addition to his dramatic foundation, this strong physical ability has seen his performance credentials bolstered as an actor that can also tackle the action genre. Paul breakout performance was in the role of Dennis Rellik in the multi million dollar thriller 'John Doe Vigilante'. In 2016, Paul worked with Jackie Chan as a Featured Extra on the Bollywood/China co-production 'Kung Fu Yoga'. One of China's biggest hits of the year. He then worked as a featured extra in Dreamwork's 'Ghost In the Shell' and immediately after was cast in Director and leading actor Wu Jing's Wolf Warriors 2 co-starring Frank Grillo (The Purge Anarchy, The Grey) Paul went on to be cast in 'Journey To China - Mystery Of The Iron Mask' shot in IMAX 3D. Paul worked opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan. Paul has also appeared on Chinese television in six episodes in 'Kung Fu Police',, and as a 1970's police officer in 'Wrong Kind Of Black', for Australia's largest television network ABC. His love of the acting craft shows in his work ethic and motivation to succeed. He looks forward to new and challenging roles and working with visionary directors in the future. Paul Allica is slated to star in 2018's 'The Siege' as lead hero Robin Hood.
