Also A composer, David has scored some of his previous films, creating and writing soundtracks with many musicians ranging from Coolio to members of Soundgarden and King's X. His studio band "Ultrarev" was signed on an indie label, Feudal Records in 2009. David has lensed numerous other independent features including the multiple award winning film "The Preacher's Daughter" and it's sequel, "A Woman Betrayed" AKA "The Preacher's Mistress". In 2014 Mark David directed and shot his fourth feature film , "Jonny's Sweet Revenge" (2016) In 2015 and 2016, "Jonny's Sweet Revenge" won ten awards at film festivals, including Best Director, Best Film and an Audience Award. David went on to Direct the Drama/ Thriller, "Texas Heart", starring Lin Shaye, John Savage and Daniella Bobadilla (Anger Management, The Middle). The film won Best picture at the Albuquerque Film Festival in 2015 and many other awards. David returned to the Director chair helming the controversial indie film "Star*cker" in (2017) on which he is also credited as Writer, Cinematographer and Producer.
