Marissa Falsone is an award-winning actor, filmmaker, and voiceover artist of Italian descent. She is currently based out of Austin, TX where she is consistently working and training. Since 2017 she has been training in the Meisner technique with The Neighborhood Playhouse alumni and former Los Angeles casting director Laurel Smith Vouvray at In The Moment Acting Studio, as well as working with private coaches for voice and voiceover technique. Marissa first gained national attention singing on NBC's legendary It's Showtime at the Apollo (1987). She co-wrote and was the lead producer on Healing TREE's short film Silk, which was directed by John Magaro (The Many Saints of Newark (2021), The Umbrella Academy (2019), Carol (2015), The Big Short (2015)). Marissa was a Director's Pick for a 2020 (postponed to 2021 due to COVID-19) Queer Writer Fellowship at the Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing. She is a 2015/2016 ASTEP (Artists Striving To End Poverty) Fellow and participant in the 2015 Artist As Citizen Conference at Juilliard. Marissa Hermer is a restaurateur, entrepreneur and author. Using her extensive experience in F&B public relations and marketing, Hermer has most recently created a fine-dining experience at the widely acclaimed Olivetta, offering a cuisine and ambiance rooted in the Mediterranean lifestyle. She is also the owner of The Draycott, a family brasserie-café and flagship restaurant of Caruso's Palisades Village that draws inspiration from London life and features classic meals made from fresh local products with British inflection. At the onset of the COVID pandemic, she launched You Give. We Cook. They Eat, a fundraiser operated by both restaurants to provide meals for first responders and frontline workers. Hermer is also the co-founder of the healthy packaged food brand Maverick Snacks, founded in response to the overwhelming childhood obesity problem and lack of wholesome grab-and-go options for kids. Her first foray into the restaurant industry was in New York City working alongside Ian Schrager to open Gramercy Park Hotel, among other successful endeavors. Hermer earned a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Middlebury College.
