Mario Heder
Mario Heder was born June 30, 1988 in Biloxi Mississippi to Lane and Karen Heder. His father was a Physician's Assistant in the Air Force causing him to reside in many different states. Their family ultimately settled in Layton, Utah when Mario was 11 years old. Mario developed an interest in the arts because of his Cuban grandparents, on his mother's side, who were both accomplished musicians in Cuba and Puerto Rico. He discovered his talent for singing and acting while participating in his various plays and talent shows at Davis High School. Mario met his wife, Jolee Nelson, in Provo, Utah while attending Utah Valley University. He and his wife moved to Spokane, Washington so he could attend Eastern Washington University. He majored in history and minored in music. During his time in college, his wife gave birth to a son (Maverick). Mario graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2016.

He directed the short film "El Hombre Aficionado" and theatrical productions, including "Amor en Lota" by Nelson Oyarzúa, "Rota" by Luis Barrales and "El loco y la Triste" by Juan Radrigán.
