Mariela Garriga
Mariela Garriga was born in Habana, Cuba. She started her artistic career at the age of 13th. She professionally danced in theater and television at "Cuban Television Ballet" until she moved to Italy in 2009. Although her dream was to be an archeologist, destiny wanted her to do something else. After a full year living in Italy she was strongly encouraged by a casting director to study acting, and after thinking about it for several months she stared to be train at Michael Rodgers Acting Studio in Milan. Later on she continued her acting studies in NYC at the Terry Schreiber Studio and The Actors Studio. She's been working as an actress since then, dividing her time between TV series and movies in Italy and the United States. Some of her acting credits in the USA includes the psychological thriller "Bloodline" produced by "Blumhouse Productions" where she plays the leading role 'Lauren Cole" opposite Seann William Scott and Dale Dickey. The Horror Anthology "Nightmare Cinema" directed by the Master of Horrors Ryuhei Kitamura, David Slade, Joe Dante, Mick Garris and Alejandro Brugues. She also played Pietra Rey on the CBS action series "NCIS Los Angeles" opposite Chris O'Donnell and Daniela Ruah. In the italian market she has work in titles like "Gli Uomini d'Oro'' an incredibly true story directed by Vincenzo Alfieri, produced by IIF Italian Noir where she plays the female leading role "Gina" opposite Edoardo Leo and Fabio de Luigi. The comedy "Chi m'ha visto'' directed by Alessandro Pondi, where she played 'Sally' opposite PierFrancesco Favino and Beppe Fiorello. Also she was a recurring star in the Sky Italian tv series "I delitti del Barlume directed" directed by Roan Johnson and played Remedios in the acclaimed tv series "L'Ispettore Coliandro" directed by Manetti Bross for Rai tv. She served as an associate producer for the documentary "The Life and Times of Gordon Hunt" Last year she wrote and produced a feature documentary with Gabriel Beristain and Tatiana Luter named E.L.I. The documentary was made to help create awareness to protect wildlife/environmental against exploitation and crimes. In collaboration with 23 actresses all around the world and the Non Profit Foundation Earth League International. In 2019 She won as best actress at the "Queen Palm International Film Festival" for her role in the short "Sombra City".

Mariela Hill, is an Afro-Latina from Ibarra, Ecuador. Since Spanish was her first language when she entered into first grade and had to learn to speak, read, and write English- Mariela was extremely shy and would rarely talk. Her parents and teacher didn't know how to break Mariela out of her shell, so they decided to enroll her into theatre and dance classes. As they say, the rest is history! Mariela got cast in her first lead in the musical, A Little Princess at age 9 and have been done over twenty musicals! After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in Musical Theatre and a Master's in Elementary Education, Mariela moved to Washington, DC and taught early childhood/ elementary school for six years. She wanted to make an impact in the lives of children the way her own teachers had done for her, and expose her students to as many wonderful opportunities as possible. Mariela also tried to teach their parents helpful resources both online and in the community so they could better their child's lives as well. In 2012, Mariela Hill started to delve into film (tv, commercials, voice overs, industrials, print) and has been acting full-time ever since!
