Mari's love for entertainment began while growing up dancing at her mom's international studio in Japan. After moving to America, her first experience on set came when she was cast in Warner Brother's Joyful Noise. Being a part of this project inspired her to begin acting & singing lessons. Mari went on to earn a degree in Digital Broadcast Journalism & Theatre from the University of Georgia. Now Atlanta-based, she has added over 40 credits to her resume in the past few years.

Their online work has amassed over billions of views. Most recently, Keone and Mari co-created, directed and choreographed their first full length nominated Off-Broadway theater dance show, "Beyond Babel" which was a New York Times pick and nominated for 2 Drama Desk Awards. They are also directing/choreographing the Broadway-bound "Once Upon a One More Time," and choreographing the Broadway-bound "The Karate Kid" musical. Keone & Mari recently announced their choreographic involvement in a new Disney animated short film, "Us Again," told entirely through music and dance. The film is now streaming on Disney+.
