Canadian-bred, Menard was born on March 2, 1975 in Quebec City, Quebec and realized his love for acting during his high school years at a Jesuit academy. In 2008, Menard had a take-charge role in the creature/horror film Yeti: Curse of the Snow Demon (2008). He also recently shot episodes on Gossip Girl (2007) in 2011 and 2012.
