Marc is an award-winning independent filmmaker and college professor with over two decades of combined experience in both teaching and film and media production. As an educator, Marc has developed and taught curriculum for communication and film courses. As a filmmaker, Marc has managed his production company since 2003, building a full-service, mobile GNE unit with audio and camera packages. Between earning his BS in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Florida in 1998 and his MFA in Film Production from Full Sail University in 2017, Marc taught himself filmmaking through an aggressive pursuit of self-education and experience. He consumed books, articles, and YouTube videos on multiple crafts while volunteering and working on local indie productions. Eventually, he produced and helmed an indie feature film, breaking free from the "small-town filmmaker" bubble, and has gone on to develop and produce multiple indie features since 2012. His forte is development through production, though Marc often stays with a project well into distribution. Marc and his wife have been married since 1990 and have eight grown children.
