Michelle began acting for screen and stage as a teenager, taking a hiatus to complete a Bachelor of Film and Television at Swinburne University of Technology in 2021. Over the last 7 years they have worked tirelessly in the local industry behind and in front of the camera, with extensive experience across writing, directing, production design and editing. They are an identical twin with actor Lucinda Keating.

Michelle Kim is a Canadian director, screenwriter, novelist, and actor. Kim was born in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, to a Canadian-human-rights-lawyer father and a Korean-fashion-designer mother. Educated in the public school system's French Immersion and the International Baccalaureate programs, she went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Canadian Studies at the University of British Columbia, where she started working as a journalist for the student newspaper as well as started acting in short films. Upon graduation, Michelle moved to London, England to work as a journalist for BBC Radio Five Live and BBC World Service. She then returned to Vancouver to pursue a career in film and write a novel. Krusiec recently wrote/directed Bite, about an immigrant mother experiencing social and cultural displacement in the America suburb. Krusiec was a Center of Asian American Media's Screenwriting Fellow. She holds a certificate in Screenwriting from U.C.L.A.'s Professional Program. She's served as a Sundance Co//ab Community Leader. She's a mother of two and performs advocacy work on behalf of domestic violence and sexual assault survivors.
