Michael Wren, born Michael Wren Gucciardo on November 16th 1985 to Italian American parents Thomas and Theresa Gucciardo of Flushing Queens, New York . Gucciardo was the youngest of three children. Gucciardo who was raised in upstate New York (Latham) south of Saratoga Springs, Ny. At 11 years old Gucciardo was burned while playing with friends and was transferred to Westchester Medical Centers burn unit where he spent nearly 3 weeks undergoing surgery and skin grafts. Upon Michaels return to upstate New York his first year in Junior high Gucciardo was diagnosed with ADHD. While being bounced around from class to class and program to program, Gucciardo realized he was different and had a resilient personality along with a charisma found in adults many years older. That is when Michael started focusing on famous play-writes and legendary actors. He reveres Shakespeare and loves philosophy. At the age of eighteen, Michael received his Real Estate license but quickly realized its not what was in his heart. He went on an open casting call for Tony and Tina's wedding at Proctor's Theater and was cast. After having his first live Theater experience he realized what he finally wanted to do with his life. He moved to New York City and begun training at William Esper Studio and works frequently with David Epstein on Shakespeare & scene study with dialects.
