Michael is an actor and musician living in Los Angeles, California. Michael has a wide array of performance experiences in film, theater, and music. He is a proud alumnus of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City, the Williamstown Theater Festival, the Hollywood Fringe Festival and regional theaters around the country. Michael Philip Strickland was born August 17th, 1988 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Graduate with honors from the Vancouver Film School in 2014, Michael is most well known for his role as Umarak the hunter in Lego Bionicle: The Journey to one. One of Michael's accomplishments is a guest starring role in the Christmas special episode of the TV Series "Mr. Young" ("Mr. Elf" episode). Michael also had a co-starring role in the TV Series "Fringe" ("The Abducted" episode), "Once Upon a Time" ("That Still Small Voice" episode) and a lead role in the Animation Promo "Sara Solves It". This math and mystery pilot has been picked up by Amazon Studios to be shown on Prime Instant Video and Amazon Instant Video for the public to vote on and give feedback.

Michael Stuhlbarg

Michael Stewart Stuhlbarg was born in Long Beach, California. He attended UCLA, and then The Juilliard School in New York City, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. His other studies included time at the Vilnius Conservatory in Lithuania, the British American Drama Academy at Baliol and Keble Colleges at Oxford, and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain in London, and at Northwestern University's National High School Institute "Cherub" Program . While at UCLA, he was awarded a scholarship to study with Marcel Marceau. During the 1990s and most of the 2000s, Stuhlbarg was primarily a theatrical actor, working on Broadway in such productions as Cabaret, Taking Sides, Saint Joan, The Government Inspector, and The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh, which earned him a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play, and his first nomination for a Tony Award. His numerous Off-Broadway credits include the title roles in Hamlet and Richard II with the New York Shakespeare Festival, and David Mamet's adaptation of The Voysey Inheritance, which earned him an OBIE. Stuhlbarg's first major film role was as Laurence Gopnik in Joel and Ethan Coen's A Serious Man, for which he received his first Golden Globe nomination. His first major television role came in HBO and Martin Scorsese's period drama series, Boardwalk Empire, in which he was cast as the organized crime figure Arnold Rothstein. Most recently, he appeared in the highly acclaimed FX series Fargo, and will be seen in 2018 in The Looming Tower on Hulu. Stuhlbarg has continued to appear regularly in a number of high-profile films in recent years, including: Arrival, Steve Jobs, Blue Jasmine, Hugo, Seven Psychopaths, Men In Black III, Trumbo, Lincoln, Miss Sloane, Doctor Strange, Miles Ahead, and Pawn Sacrifice to name a few. Michael Sucsy is a Golden Globe, Emmy, and PGA Award-winning film director, screenwriter, and producer best known for creating "Grey Gardens" (HBO) in which he directed Jessica Lange to a Best Actress Emmy Award and Drew Barrymore to a Best Actress Golden Globe and SAG Award. Sucsy was raised in New York and New England and graduated from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service where he studied International Relations. He gained extensive production experience prior to attending grad school working on numerous films, television shows and commercials. After earning a Masters of Fine Arts in film from the Art Center College of Design, Sucsy began directing commercials and was nominated for the Young Director of the Year Award given in conjunction with the 2002 Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival. For his directing debut Sucsy won a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for best picture and was nominated for the WGA Award and the DGA Award. In total, Sucsy's Grey Gardens won 2 Golden Globes and 6 Emmys having garnered a record 17 Emmy nominations. The film also won top awards from the Producers Guild of America, American Cinema Editors, Art Directors Guild, Cinema Audio Society, Costume Designers Guild, and Casting Society of America. Sucsy followed up the success of his first film with "The Vow" (Sony), starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams, which had a $42MM opening weekend and went onto gross $200MM worldwide. Sucsy resides in Los Angeles with his husband, Demitri Sgourakis.
