When Jacob was in 3rd grade, he told his elementary school counselor that he was going to be a movie director when he grew up, and ever since, he has been working towards that goal. After spending years convincing friends and family to appear in his charmingly offbeat no-budget home movies shot on an old VHS camera, he enrolled as a film production major at Oklahoma City University where his love of filmmaking and passion for storytelling expanded and flourished. As a filmmaker, Jacob strives to be a part of projects that are thoughtful, imaginative, memorable, and innovative.
Jacob Leinbach is an American actor who began acting at the age of six as "Theo" in a local theater production of "Pippin". He went on to perform in a series of short films for the University of North Carolina School of the Arts including the award winning WWII short "Kilroy was Here". Jacob can be seen as the Vice President's son in the sci-fi thriller "Eyeborgs" and as "Brad" in the award winning coming of age drama "The Wise Kids". Jacob was cast as "Mick" in the film adaptation of the novel "Ender's Game" and as "Tad" in the award winning television show "Homeland". In the summer of 2013 Jacob was cast as John Brinkman in the film "Locker 212". According to author Josh Barkey "Locker 212 is an exploration of how making real, human connections with our most lost and hurting kids can help us alleviate the bullying and gun violence that have plagued our schools". That summer Jacob also had the privilege of working with one of his favorite actresses, Loretta Devine, in "Teachers" aka "Saving Westbrook High". Jacob's favorite school subjects are science, as well as, history, which made being cast as "Newt" in the new Revolutionary War series "Turn" an incredible experience. Jacob's favorite pastimes include drumming, cooking Italian food, and listening to Bach, Beethoven and the Beatles. Jacob was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Michael and Leigh Ann Leinbach. He has an older brother and sister-in-law, Garrett and Ariel Hatfield. He resides in North Carolina with his parents and beloved pets, Labrador Retriever Casey and rabbit Midnight.
Jacob Letman grew up in the small town of Lander, Wyoming. After high school he received a bachelor's of arts degree in communications and theatre from Montana State University Billings (2014). He started his entertainment career as an NCAA Sports Broadcaster for men's and women's basketball (2011-2015). Jacob then worked as a sports anchor and reporter for KTVQ News in Billings, Montana (2014-2015). Jacob started his acting career in Southern California in 2016 after training in film, commercial, and voice over at Del Mar Media Arts (Irvine, CA). Jacob Seth Lofland was born in Briggsville, Arkansas, to Debra and Billy Lofland. Jacob began his film career playing Neckbone in Jeff Nichols' Mud (2012), with Matthew McConaughey and Tye Sheridan. Lofland was quick to recognize that he fit every adjective of Neck's personality description, as well as bringing the boating and cycle riding experience Jeff was looking for. Less than three weeks after seeing the open casting call in the paper, he took his first plane ride to Austin, Texas, to audition for Jeff Nichols and producer Sarah Green. He was offered the role within 24 hours, and within a month found himself on location with a full movie crew. When Lofland is not acting he enjoys fishing, boating, hunting, and riding dirt bikes, which he began at the age of six. By age 11, after attending dirt track races with his family, he became interested in racing go-karts, and soon graduated to the 600 MiniSprint.

He was born on July 30, 1985 in Brownsville, Texas to Lydia Barrera and Julio Garcia Jr. His mother is a retired 5th grade Elementary Teacher and his father is a Professor of Respiratory Thearapy at Del Mar College where they currently reside in Corpus Christi, Texas. Jacob started acting at the age of 6 at his local community theatre The Harbor Playhouse in Corpus Christi, Texas. Growing up he also participated in competitive swimming,baseball, volleyball and soccer. He attended Richard King High School class of 2004, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Class of 2010 with a B.A. in Theatre and a B.A. in Theatre Education with his Certification K-12. He is currently a UCLA MFA Acting 2021 Graduate Candidate. He was a Theatre Educator for 9 years teaching in various places but most prominently at Marietta High School in Marietta, GA. Jacob is a recipient of the Hollywood Foreign Press Acting Scholarship as Well as the Hugh Downs Acting for Television Scholarship and resides both in Los Angeles, CA. and Atlanta, GA.
