He continues to perform at the UCB Theater in improv, sketch and character shows, and is a long-time student of the theater's Advanced Study Improv Program and UCB Academy. He is a lifelong guitarist and songwriter, and as a coach, he has instructed many diverse groups and individuals in acting, improv, and his specialty: dialects.

In New York where he began his acting career, Eli was awarded first prize in the NYC Board of Education inter-borough Spanish Drama competition and was runner up at the New York English Speaking Union's Shakespeare Oratory competition. From there he went on to work in the off-off Broadway productions of "Twelve Angry Man", "The Justs", (based on Albert Camus play) and "Why Love Lucy" with the Long Island Dinner Theater. He made his move to Los Angeles where he has also worked in theater as well as various short independent films which have had exposure on the film festival circuit. His feature film credit include the western genre "The Murder of Hi Good". In TV he has appeared on an episode of CSI Miami and Shark on CBS. As a producer he assisted in the film "Dysmorphia" directed by Dago Rodriguez, a film in a series of shorts that was presented for Showtime channel. Next he co-produced the short film "Like Grains of Sand", by writer, director Charles Conklyn and executive produced the short film "Delano". As a theater producer he is credited with the original play "An Unfinished Man", which debut at the NoHo Arts District in Los Angeles. He created his production company Divariosa Entertainment/Altamar Pictures and is in development and preproduction of various feature films.
Eli Jo was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota with a love for entertainment. After years of choir, dance, theatre, and modeling in high school, she moved to Orlando, Florida and received a Bachelor's of Science in film production. In March 2018 she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she has been working and training as an actor since.
