Dan Gilvary is an actor, known for Vice (2018), Punching and Stealing (2020) and The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window (2022).
Dan Gilvezan was born in south St. Louis, just a stone's throw (although you really shouldn't throw stones, it's not nice) away from the legendary Anheuser-Busch brewery. The oldest of three children, Gilvezan's penchant for performing became apparent at an early age when he began charging the neighborhood kids a nickel apiece to attend impromptu talent shows in his parent's garage. Following this auspicious beginning, he performed in many elementary school plays in roles as diverse as Little Boy Blue, Jack Horner and Wee Willie Winkie. "He was really something," one of his teachers once observed, "He not only had his own lines memorized, but everyone else's as well. What a pain in the ass!" By the eighth grade Dan had built an impressive resume, but it was his turn as Harold Hill in a high school production of "The Music Man" that the acting bug truly took hold. Upon graduating from Webster University in Webster Groves, Missouri with a BA in drama, Gilvezan joined the cast of the National Players touring company bringing the classics to grade schools, universities and civic auditoriums nationwide. After completing the tour he further honed his skills performing in regional theater, summer stock, dinner theater and children's theater all along the Atlantic seaboard. Hoping the world of West Coast show business would welcome him with open arms, Gilvezan moved to Los Angeles and found that finding fame and fortune in Hollywood wasn't going to be as easy as he had imagined. "It was when I saw all these character actors I had watched on TV as a kid, who I had always imagined as living in big mansions in Beverly Hills, standing in line at the unemployment office that the realities of this business truly hit me." After a time working odd jobs just to keep food on the table, lightening finally struck when he won the role of Spider-Man in the NBC Saturday morning series "Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends." Roles in other animated shows of the 1980s soon followed. He was cast as Bumblebee in the original Transformers television series, jet pilot Slipstream in "GI Joe," Cooler in Hanna Barbera's "Pound Puppies" along with a host of other notable cartoon characters during the 8os and early 90s. His television appearances are too numerous to mention, but include recurring roles on "Diagnosis Murder," "She-Wolf of London" and the FX series "Baskets." Expanding into the world of the written word, Dan is the author of "Bumblebee & Me: Life as a G1 Transformer," a memoir of his time working on the seminal series, and the novels, "Drowned in the Grenadine" and "Soul."

Dan Godlin is an actor and singer-songwriter born in Houston, Texas and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Dan began his acting career in 2012 with a role in the American teen comedy film G.B.F. as high school jock Cameron Woods (not far off from his own high school days as captain of the football and wrestling teams). Since then, Godlin has been seen in feature films, popular TV shows, and numerous commercials. Dan is also a professional pop/rock singer-songwriter with two full length albums, one EP, and multiple singles. Dan's songs have aired on many TV shows including Major Crimes (TNT), Keeping Up with the Kardashians (E!), The Challenge (MTV), The Vineyard (ABC Family), and Degrassi (TeenNick); and within various films including Suicide Note (Lifetime), Winter Wedding (Lifetime), and the trailer of the Hong Kong major motion picture Women Who Flirt. Most recently Dan was seen on tour as the opening act for chart-topping boy band of the early 2000s, O-Town, on their comeback tour of the U.S. and Canada. Godlin has been serious about music from a very young age, beginning with classical piano when he was five, picking up the guitar at 10, and writing original compositions by the age of 12. Despite his high school sports achievements and the alluring Ivy League football scholarship offers, Dan decided to follow his passion of music while pursuing a bachelor's degree from NYU. Shortly after graduating Cum Laude in 2012, Dan became the opening act for artists such as Howie Day, Tyler Hilton, Ryan Cabrera, and Anna Nalick. Godlin's debut album garnered a spot on the Top 20 "Hot AC" radio charts and reached the #3 spot on iHeartRadio's "New!" countdown. He was named Channel One's Artist of the Month and was later nominated for Artist of the Year. Other notable performances throughout Godlin's music career include opening for Matt Nathanson, Colbie Caillat, and Plain White T's at the renowned Live In The Vineyard Festival and showcasing at Hollywood's Annual MUSEXPO conference. He released three new singles in 2018, including one of his most popular songs to date, "Demolition Heart". Dan is based in New York City, where he is often mistaken for Prince Harry, Ed Sheeran, and Elmo. He is represented by Stewart Talent.

Raised in South Florida, Dan was a founder of the ACT-I-VATE webcomics collective in Brooklyn, which launched the careers of many creators (including his own). In 2006, his serialized dystopian satire of the War on Terror SHOOTING WAR was nominated for an Eisner Award. Dan began contributing editorial illustrations regularly to New York Magazine's weekly "Intelligencer" column, eventually leaning harder into comics journalism with a long form collaboration with journalist Michael Crowley. Together they created 08: A GRAPHIC DIARY OF THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL, a 160-page nonfiction graphic novel documenting the chaotic 2008 Presidential election--written and drawn in real-time--which resulted in a hybrid of the visual languages of comics and magazine design that NPR Books called "defiantly and refreshingly unconventional." Post-election, Dan and his wife moved to São Paulo, Brazil where he began to produce his long-gestating passion project: a paranormal horror series called RED LIGHT PROPERTIES. Initially serialized online at Tor, the series saw print via IDW Books (US) and Plot! (Brazil) and is currently in-development as a live-action TV series. Returning to NYC, Dan produced multiple seasons of Emmy-winning experiences for AMC Television including Breaking Bad, The Killing, and Halt & Catch Fire and scripted two video games based on mega-hit series The Walking Dead. He then co-created the augmented-reality enabled feminist comic series PRIYA'S SHAKTI. Funded by the Tribeca Film Institute, Ford Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, Dan criss-crossed the Indian subcontinent several times, working directly with the young people his stories were created to inspire. The series has since been downloaded nearly 1.5 million times in multiple languages worldwide. This experience in India inspired Dan to found the Kinjin Story Lab, a narrative studio dedicated to creating mindful entertainment across multiple media.
