Bobby was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He is the youngest of three children. He attended Lane Tech High School as well as Southern Illinois University, where he majored in Art & Design. S.I.U. is where he got his first taste of acting while taking a theatre 101 class. After college, he spent a short time in the advertising world, but knew that wasn't his calling. So he quit his day job, started taking acting classes, and got a job bar tending nights in the trendy Lincoln Park area of Chicago. Shortly thereafter, he started booking roles in small theatre productions around the city, which eventually landed him his first theatrical agent.
