Benjamin Plener was born on 21 May 1982 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is an actor and writer, known for Goosebumps (1995), Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1990) and Moonlight Densetsu (1995).
Benjamin "Ben" Plessala started working in the entertainment industry at the age of five and has been working steadily ever since in Television, Film, Commercial and Voice Over. He has appeared on many Network shows, including HBO's "Big Little Lies" and Showtime's "Shameless." He has also appeared in National Commercials for Audi, Chevrolet, Star Wars Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, Embassy Suites Hotels, Home Depot, Xfinity, TrueGreen Lawn Care and Amica Insurance just to name a few. As an avid Gamer, Ben is beyond thrilled to be part of the voice casts of two epic Sony Playstation video games, "Final Fantasy VII Remake" playing Oates, a young boy living in the Sector 5 Slums and "The Last of Us Part II", that won the The Game Awards Game of the Year 2020 and racked up over 200 other Game of the Year Awards. Ben has also written and performed stand-up comedy at the Hollywood Improv on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles with his comedy/improvisation troupe, Comedy Playground When not performing, Ben plays on his High School baseball team, plays club ice hockey, cooks in the kitchen and hangs with his two dogs.
