Alexandra Stewart was born in Montreal in 1939 and at 16 went to Paris to study art, English literature and French. Less than one year later, she appeared in her first feature film. She fell in love with Paris and lived there for some time. For a while she worked as a model then started acting appearing in French films. Les motards (1959). After a period of traveling around Europe she went to Hollywood in 1965. In her long career, she has appeared in many films, including: Otto Preminger's Exodus (1960), Louis Malle's Le feu follet (1963) and Black Moon (1975) (Stewart has a child by Malle), Arthur Penn's Mickey One (1965) with Warren Beatty, François Truffaut's Bride Wore Black and Day For Night, In Praise of Older Women (1978), Intimate Moments, Women, Prince's Under the Cherry Moon (1986) with Prince and Kristin Scott Thomas and Roman Polanski's Frantic (1988).

A producer and Berlin-based Bohemia Group manager, Alex links multi-lingual actors and writers from Europe with the US Industry. And vice versa. Born in San Francisco to Swiss parents - making her the only American in her family - she grew up in Vancouver and Basel, was shipped off to Houston as an exchange student, returning to graduate in Zurich, adding proper German, French and Latin to her native Schwyzerdüütsch and English. Debuting on stage with a renowned Children's Theater aged 8, she went on to receive her BA of Fine Arts at Zurich University, as well as studying with Uta Hagen at H.B. Studio, NY. After a decade as an actor on German stages, Film and TV, she joined the Shakespeare Company Berlin, directing the Shakespeare Kids in her own translations, as well as running a business for Diversity Management and Family Constellation, while studying screenwriting with Wolfgang Pfeiffer (Oscar Nominee for 'Children of Nature' in 91). Back in Hollywood from 2009-2016, she began working on set as production assistant, 2nd AD and honing her writing skills at ScreenwritingU. She joined Friends Connection Berlin as agent in 2017, from where she moved on to Bohemia Group as a EU manager in 2018.
