Alexandra Jensen is a Writer, Director, and Editor. Originally from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Alexandra moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to pursue a career in filmmaking. She graduated from University of Southern California's prestigious Film & Television Production program in 2012, earning her MFA degree with an emphasis on writing & directing. She also has a bachelor's degree in Film & Media Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, from which she graduated in 2009. She works as Post Production Supervisor for Lunacy Productions, a company based in Santa Monica, CA. Lunacy has found success with their thriller Rust Creek (2018) (2018), on which Alexandra was Executive Producer, Storyboard Artist, Post Production Supervisor, and Motion Graphic Designer. She also helms her own company, Hidden Key Media, geared toward producing and/or editing short form content. Alexandra is also a freelance storyboard artist and illustrator. She has done storyboards for Bryan Singer and Felicia Day's "Spooked", an Emmy Award-Winning PSA for the "Help A Soldier Heal" Foundation, and more. Alexandra Kahwagi is an Armenian-Lebanese actress based in Los Angeles. Born in Beirut, she started her acting career at the young age of thirteen. She quickly gained recognition among the film industry's pioneers and embarked on a journey that led her to star in many short films by the age of eighteen. Her debut in feature films was with her leading role in "A Perfect Day", directed by the Marcel Duchamp Award winners Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige. The film went on to win awards at the prestigious Nantes Three Continents Festival, the Locarno International Film Festival, the Tribeca Film festival and many more. After earning a BA in performing arts from L'Institut des Études Sceniques et Audiovisuelles in Beirut, and during the years that followed her graduation, she expanded her acting career by starring in some of the most noteworthy Middle Eastern feature films. Many of her roles are bold and dashing and created debates in the Middle Eastern artistic scene. One of the examples is her interpretation of Jenny in the film "Nuts" which raised the question of women's freedom of expression in the Arabic Cinema. Her part in the acclaimed Syrian film "Round Trip" is another example of a daring role that deals with cultural issues. Her distinguished performance won her the Muhr Special Mention Award from the Dubai International Film Festival. Kahwagi's role in the critically praised movie "Very Big Shot" put her in the international limelight due to the massive success the movie attained. It went on garnering a collection of award wins from some of the industry's most renowned organizations and was selected as the Lebanese entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Award. Netflix picked up "A perfect day", "Nuts" and "A Very Big Shot" for distribution. "El Gran Libano", a short directed by Mounia Akl and in which Alexandra starred, opened the Directors Fortnight of the 70th Cannes Film Festival. Avid to enrich her experience and expand her knowledge, Alexandra decided to move to Los Angeles. She enrolled at the illustrious Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute where she trained in the method acting, the Alexander movement technique, the Fitzmaurice Voicework, improv and film fighting techniques. Her knowledge about music is extensive and she plays the guitar and the piano. Alexandra speaks fluent Arabic, French and English.
