Alexandra Jordan Grey was born in Chicago, Illinois. Raised in seven foster homes, she was determined not be a stereotype and to always follow her dreams of making it on the small screen. After high-school, she relocated to California where she began studying Theater at California State University Northridge and soon after began a career in television. Her roles include Empire (2015), How to Get Away with Murder (2014), and The Alienist (2018). In 2021, she joined the cast of the CBS action/adventure series Macgyver, where she played Parker Phillips - a new electrical engineer brought on to help solve cases with the Macgyver team. Her influences include some of the greats including Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Loretta Devine, Sandra Bullock and so many more.
Alexandra received a BA in Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University and studied classical theatre and Shakespeare at the British American Drama Academy in London, England. Alexandra strongly believes in the power of diverse and experiential storytelling. As an actor, producer, writer and activist, she is dedicated to making art that highlights and spreads awareness on social issues. Alexandra co-founded Kid Sister Collective production company in 2014, that aims to create female driven stories that offer a unique perspective and to collaborate with multifarious creatives. Outside her work as an artist, Alexandra leads the UNICEF UNITE Advocacy Team, meeting with members of Congress on behalf of the world's most vulnerable children.
