Alexa Rowe

Alexa Rowe is a Canadian/Australian actress currently located in Los Angeles. She was born in Sydney, Australia and became interested in the art of performing after moving to Victoria, British Columbia and working as a set builder for local productions. Alexa moved to Hollywood North in Vancouver at the age of 18, and began modeling and acting professionally while studying computer science and creative writing at the University of British Columbia. Since then Alexa has relocated to California and currently studies comedy and improv at The Groundlings, after being accepted into the core track in May 2019. Alexa has been in several feature films, commercials, shorts, MOWs, and music videos since the start of her professional career in 2013. The feature film Kid Cannabis can be streamed on both Netflix (2014) and Amazon Prime (2019). Her role as Angiel Powell, the determined best friend of Macie Duncan (Ireland Baldwin) can be seen in the MOW "Campus Caller". She can also be caught playing the neurotic and controlling film producer Liza in the 2019 Canadian film festival circuit for the feature mocumentary "Open for Submissions". Alexa has a deep passion for improv and comedy, and also writes/shoots/directs and edits her own personal sketch comedy on her Youtube Channel with some of her fellow Groundlings core track students. She also loves video production, and often shoots promotional content for local businesses, wedding videos, and other passion projects. Alexa is currently working on honing her comedic and dramatic skills in the city of angels.

Alexa Russo

Alexa Russo is an actress and comedian based out of the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) comedy world in Los Angeles. She was raised in the small town of Kingman, Arizona. Her father was a musician, and as a child, Alexa immediately fell in love with the arts. From a very young age, Alexa was always certain about one thing: she had to be an actor. At the age of 14, Alexa realized she needed to take the initiative to make her dreams come true. She convinced her parents to let her audition for the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA). Much to her surprise, Alexa was accepted to the Theatre Department! Alexa's journey at LACHSA changed her life and transformed her into a passionate and competitive working artist. In her four years at LACHSA, she discovered her pure love for acting. Alexa also found her place in the world of Musical Theatre when she scored the leading role of "Tracy Turnblad" in Hairspray performed at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood. She went on to join the casts of many other plays and musicals around Los Angeles, and then moved to New York City to study Musical Theatre at Pace University. Alexa is now back in Los Angeles, where she is now bringing her quirky personality to film, television, and improv! She is on a house team at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), and she is a member of LA's hottest all-female musical improv team, "Adele Dazeem". After playing the recurring character, "Hazel", in Disney Channel's Austin & Ally, Alexa has become known for her quirky personality, goofy laugh, kooky voice, infectious energy, and natural disposition of an overly excited camp counselor. Although Alexa has a very goofy personality, she also likes to get to the core of important and relevant issues. Alexa is an activist for positive body image, self-love and self-compassion, and Eating Disorder awareness. Her main mission is to spread love, laughter, and joy through her passions and talents. Alexa can currently be spotted performing comedy improv at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), giving tram tours at Universal Studios Hollywood, laughing a little too loud in movie theaters, and probably asking to pet your dog.

Alexa Swinton (aka Alexa Skye Swinton) is an American actress, singer, and writer with Canadian, Scottish and Russian-Jewish heritage. She is known for her roles in television, film and theater. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity. Most recently, Alexa joined the cast of And Just Like That in the role of Rose Goldenblatt. Alexa is part of the cast in M. On the stage, Alexa originated the role of Addie in Make Believe, written by Bess Wohl and directed by Jackson Gay at the Hartford Stage. Alexa also originated the role of Young Inna in the world premiere of Kooky Spook, written by Inna Swinton and directed by Maria Smushkovich, at the New York New Works Theatre Festival. She also appeared in a number of off-Broadway productions including Annie Warbucks and Madeline's Christmas. Alexa began her professional acting career performing at age three in Matthew Barney's River of Fundament where she performed opposite Paul Giamatti and Elaine Stritch. She made her television debut playing the younger version of the lead character Claire, in Starz's "Flesh and Bone". Alexa has also appeared in a range of broadcast TV shows including Manifest, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show,Today, and The View. Alexa was born in New York City and lives in New Jersey. Her father, Rolfe Swinton, is a technology and data entrepreneur, her mother, Inna Swinton, is an actress, lawyer, and author. She has two siblings, Maxim Swinton who is an actor, stand up comedian and singer, and Ava who is a singer and musician.

Alexa was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She moved several times in her youth, being a "military brat," with the main constant being her love of the arts and passion for acting on stage and in film. Graduated in 2012 from the highly selective drama program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She was a National Semi-Finalist at The English Speaking Union's National Shakespeare Competition held at Lincoln Center in New York City, and attended the North Carolina Governor's School Summer Conservatory for theater in 2011. Alexa was invited to speak at TEDx Raleigh and spoke about female roles in Shakespeare's plays. A Merit Award Winner of the Young Arts Award given by the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts for Theater.
