Alex Demir was born in N.Y. He grew up in the Bronx and during his high school years his family moved to Westchester County. His father passed away suddenly when Alex was a young boy. With no male role model to guide him Alex started getting into trouble with the law and found himself in jail on several occasions. In his own words- "I was lost, clueless. I became some kind of a maniac". Eventually, at the suggestion of a friend from the neighborhood, Alex began taking acting classes at the famed H.B. Studios in the West Village section of Manhattan. There he received encouragement from several of the teachers including Tony Award and Academy Winner Sandy Dennis. He has stated- "It was the first time anyone ever told me that I was good at anything.......anything legal ". Alex made his debut on the off Broadway stage in Albert Camus'- "Caligula" After working in several more plays and being told constantly that he should be in front of a camera and that he needed to be in Hollywood, he eventually drove across country and settled in Los Angeles. His work has been described as; "explosive", "powerful", "wonderfully natural", "honest".

Alex Denney is an actor, improviser, musician, voiceover artist, writer, podcast host, and radio DJ living in Santa Monica, CA. As an actor, Alex has appeared on TV shows including Hulu's "Pam & Tommy", ABC's "The Rookie", and "NCIS: Hawaii" on CBS, as well as on-stage in The Actors Co-op's Ovation Award-winning production of the musical "110 in the Shade", "Bluebeard's Castle" at LA Opera, and originating the role of Brad in "A Cat Named Mercy" by Josefina Lopez ("Real Women Have Curves"). Alex has lent his voice to brands such as the NPR One app, Toyota, and Southwest Airlines, as well as scripted projects including The Loyalists and Monster Smash League. Alex sang his first live solo at the age of seven, going on to perform in choirs through college, studying under Michael Belnap in the BYU-H Concert Choir. He also sang and played bass guitar in rock bands since the age of 13. Views of his ukulele performances on YouTube, most notably his cover of "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons, and his series of songs from "Hamilton: An American Musical", number in the hundreds of thousands. Some of Alex's hobbies and skills include swimming, slacklining, ring-flying at Santa Monica Beach Park, video gaming, cooking, yoga, and meditation. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, Alex has also lived in Montana, Utah, and Hawaii, and his family now lives in Minot, North Dakota.
