Madhu motivates Ramu to go to college and become an educated person and they eventually fall in love. However, her mother, Tribhuvna, is against their union and tries to kill Ramu.

Venu helps an eloped couple, Anu and Arun, marry each other. In Arun's absence, Anu starts living with Venu and Arun's father tells him that his wife is having an affair with another man.
